Ember Rift creates a twisting portal to the elemental realm and allows the igneous Ember Demon to enter your dungeon. The Ember Demon is a scorching ally who will burn the foes that dare venture too near - if vanquished the Ember Demon will explode in a shower of flames and fall inert for a short period, returning at full strength after a period of time.
